About the data
From November 2023 the history comes from archived copies of Microsoft's Fabric pricing page on the Wayback Machine. Since then the site reads the Azure Retail Prices API every day and records every change. A change spotted between two archived snapshots shows both dates. 3-year reservations are on record only from the API.
"First price on record" is the first time a region shows up in these sources, which is not always the day Fabric became available there. History is kept in US dollars; monthly figures use Azure's 730 hours a month, and reservations spread their term price evenly over the months. Retail list prices, without tax or EA, MCA, CSP or MACC discounts.
